What's that, you say? X-mas, you say? But it's only July. Salvage Vanguard Theater may revel in the experimental, but surely even they know the limits of the calendar! Surely they know that the word "Holiday" (loosely-translated) means Waiting, Dreadful Interminable Waiting eleven months of the year for that final split-second of Holiday Cheer...
Well, we at SVT hereby declare AN END TO WAITING! A MORATORIUM ON ANTICIPATING! X-MAS IN JULY IS HERE! (or it soon will be) On Sunday, July 29th, we're throwing a bash of gorgeous proportions at Miguel's La Bodega with edibles and entertainment and air-conditioning (this is Texas, after all).
MINGLE! with old friends and friends soon-to-be, enjoying delectable hors d'oeuvres and delicious conversation . . . MIX! your favorite imbibable (or better yet, let our bartenders do it for you) at our swank cash bar . . . MARVEL! at item after outstanding item available to you for a song at our terribly silent auction . . . and MAKE MERRY! with our talented performing staff as they feed you serving upon serving of what is simply the BEST THEATER TO BE FOUND IN 5-MINUTE INCREMENTS ANYWHERE!
And 100% of your donations that evening will go toward the upcoming world-premiere production of Dan Dietz' new play Tilt Angel!
