(Austin, TX) –A new gallery space at Salvage Vanguard Theatre located at 2803 Manor Rd in Austin, Texas will premier its opening  exhibition on Friday, June 22, 2007 from 6-8pm.

Salvage Vanguard has built the theater lobby to house a 1200 sq ft visual arts gallery. The art container will be maintained for three juried events along with two SVT created exhibitions for 2007-2008. 

Current plans are to open dialogue with prospective artists and curators to create three shows this year. Details will follow about submission process, and will be posted to www.salvagevanguard.org

The opening exhibition will feature Adde Russell and Debra Broz.  The show titled
