SALVAGE VANGUARD THEATER OFFICIAL SPACE LAUNCH AND MUD PRODUCTION OPENING DATE PUSHED TO JUNE 7th

(Austin, TX) – Due to construction delays, Salvage Vanguard Theater is pushing its Official Space Launch Celebration and production opening date of Mud to Thursday, June 7th.

"It's been completely crazy. We're completely crazy. We tried to wrap this job up in two months and one week. That was nuts! The reality is that it's going to take two months and two weeks!" says SVT's Artistic Director Jason Neulander.  "As I said, we were crazy! Seriously though, we can't wait to open our doors to the community!" .

Originally slated to open June 1st, the construction team for the building decided yesterday that, to insure that completion of the first phase of the theater, the opening would need to be Thursday, June 7th.

The Official Space Launch celebration will occur that date after the opening performance of Mud at 9:30.
