Brent Werzner

BRENT WERZNER received his Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts from St Edward's University. Brent has recently performed AMERICAMISFIT in Baltimore, MD at the Center Stage Theatre as a part of their new works program in 2005. Austin credits include: THE ROAD TO WIGAN PIER: A Socialist Tea-time Travelogue, THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS: TWIN INFINITY, AMERICAMISFIT by Dan Dietz, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST at St. Edward's University, TWELFTH NIGHT at the State Theatre, STATIC (Salvage Vanguard Theatre), and SOMETHING, SOMEONE, SOME PLACE ELSE (Hyde Park Theatre). Brent is a member of Fatbuckle Improv comedy troupe and Think Tank sketch comedy group. Brent Werzner has studied the Suzuki and Viewpoints training for four years now, during his attendance of St. Edward's University, and at the SITI Companie's Los Angeles three week intensive. Brent is a recipient of the Deacon Crain award for student body of work from the Austin Circle of Theatres for his work while at the University, as well as nominations for Best Actor in a comedy in THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS: TWIN INFINITY, and Best Actor in a drama for his portrayal of R.P. McMurphy in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. Brent won the 2006 Austin Critic's Table Award for Best Actor in a drama for his performance in SVT's STATIC.
