[ The Story ]

Alice's husband is never around. His dog Stanley is always around. So, as her step-nephew Hank falls in love with her, Alice falls in love with Stanley. Deanna Shoemaker plays Alice. Aaron Alexander plays Hank. Khalil Akbar plays 9-year-old Johnny. The set, which bears a remarkable resemblance to any number of back yards in South Austin, is designed by Chase Staggs (tempOdyssey, The Cry Pitch Carrolls). And the audience plays Stanley.

 All shows start at 8:00 PM at The Off Center, 2211-A Hidalgo St.

  Directions to The Off Center:   
To get to the Off Center from IH35, take 7th Street heading east from IH35. Pass through 3 lights. Once you have gone past the third light, look for Popeye's Chicken on your right. Take a right on Robert T. Martinez at the Popeye's and then an immediate left on Hidalgo. The Off Center is the first building on your right.

There's plenty of parking in the open lot directly adjacent to The Off Center on Hidalgo Street.
