Conceived and curated by Ron Berry & Jade Walker, the Fuse Box Collaboration Project pairs five Austin-based artists with an artist from a different geography and media. This year’s open call yielded artists from New York, Mexico, France, Chicago, and Utah. Each team will meet and create work together for the first time during Fuse Box. Their collaborative endeavor will be presented in the Double Fantasy Exhibition at Big Medium Gallery on May 3rd. In conjunction with the exhibition, you can see the artists’ individual work at the Double Reality Exhibition---open throughout the festival at Salvage Vanguard Theater. This exhibition will be juried with one team receiving a $5000 grant to pursue new works!!

Mary Magsamen/Stephan Hillerbrand (Houston)
& Kirk Lynn (Austin)
 
Final jury process will take place at the Victory Grill on 5/3 at 11pm.
