There’s something about smart guys that are talented and funny and able to see humor in something like a terribly produced Turkish film. Then you add their ability to make sound effects out of things like squeeze monkey-shaped toys, deliver lines like ‘He died of a broken heart attack’ or ‘Oh, not again, sigh’ with such perfection, or underscore a death scene with ‘Can Your Feel The Love Tonight’ and BOOM- you’re infatuated with the entire idea of Foleyvision.
I went with Jenny to the 7PM show. We were both drained from a long, hot Sunday and a long, hot weekend. Damn dude, right off the bat we were those type of chicks who laugh too loud and slap their knees at something as a simple as a montage of sighs and moans. Later on we were at a party trying to tell our mystified friends why they missed an awesome show by acting out certain cheesy moments like Chad Nichol’s ‘Oh, not again, sigh’ and Buzz’s ‘Thank you. You will talk to me next.’ We again were those type of chicks who laugh too loud at a party and recieve stares from people who have no perspective.
It’s so damn good. I’m totally going to the next one.
