Published by Jason // July 13th, 2006 in Show Schtuff, The Outside WorldToday the New York Times has an incredible article that starts with this sentence: “A paralyzed man with a small sensor implanted in his brain was able to control a computer, a television set and a robot using only his thoughts!” (exclamation point, mine)
Also, we got a call yesterday from a grandson of the composer of Fiddler on the Roof asking why he wasn’t invited to Austin with the other producers to see Nemesis a couple of weeks ago! How did he even know about this, we asked. He said that the word on the street is that there’s a hot property in Austin that he should be a part of! So, we’ve sent him the packet and I may be meeting with him on Monday or Tuesday. He produced the recent Broadway revival of Fiddler, along with the recent acclaimed Broadway revival of ‘Night Mother and the Broadway premiere of All Shook Up.

In the back of the office you can hear Jason giggle to himself and mutter, “I can’t belive this! This is blowing my mind.” Then it will be quiet for a moment and he’ll say, “Oh my God! He’s playing Pong! He’s playing Pong with HIS MIND.”
Awesome!
