Nemesis Redux
Published by Jason // July 5th, 2006 in It's All About The Nemesis, Show SchtuffIt’s been quite a while since I’ve been on stage. Since I’ve “walked the boards” as they say in my trade. Since I’ve “tread the planks”, so to speak. Since I’ve been “blinded by the lights.” Since I’ve spoken the “words of the bard.” I think you get the idea.
In fact, the last time I acted in a play was four years ago when Ben Willcott dropped out of The Intergalactic Nemesis Redux and I replaced him at the last second because there wasn’t anyone else who could do it on such short notice. Well, it’s like deja vu all over again in my world because Brent can’t play the role of Ben tomorrow and so I get to do it. Will I live up to his level of polish? Will I be able to speak the lines without getting crushed by my own stage fright? Will the audience throw rotton vegetables on me? (I know they’ve been waiting for this opportunity!) We’ll find out tomorrow night.
In other news, I just installed Popcorn 2 on my computer, allowing me to dupe DVDs (legally, of course, because I’ll be using the software exclusively to dupe SVT’s shows for future producers and presenters). So, we added that link. What the hell!
